I am unable to identify the source of the May 2011 comments on the inadequacy of this article, but they are grossly unfair. The article is a commendable brief account of the life and career of a significant and somewhat heroic figure whose story at the time of his release made international news. My knowledge of him is related mainly to numerous news stories that appeared at that time. The article is appropriately referenced, and is obviously written by someone who knows what he is talking about (or at least there is no sound reason to assume that he does not have his facts straight). The points of alleged dispute themselves read like spam submitted perhaps by someone with an axe to grind; on a single day, apparently, one user decided to throw every available criticism at the article. I do not recommend that this article be pulled for any of these supposed inadequacies, and I do recommend that someone look into the source of the complaint with a suspicion regarding motivation.Brossj54 (talk) 16:54, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
